If you, or a woman you know, is undergoing cancer treatment check out  Cleaning for a Reason. Professional house cleaners will clean your house once a month for four months. You do have to provide documentation from your doctor. Only one housecleaning service in our area participating so far: Crystal Clear Home a eco-friendly cleaning service that serves Sebastopol, Santa Rosa, Forestville, and Cotati. But if you have friends or relatives going through cancer treatments in  the US, pass the link along, there are cleaning services nationwide pitching in.

The Forestville Youth Park presents its annual Parade and BBQ this weekend, June 5-6, 2010.   There will be BBQ chicken, ribs, oysters, steak, and  Sonoma County Wine and beer, for sale. It also features art and craft vendors, live music. and a huge carnival with rides for the kids, as well as an old fashion pie and watermelon-eating contest. No coolers or pets allowed.
