It’s Farmer’s Market Season!

tomatoes Its Farmers Market Season!I love, love, love Farmer’s Markets. I’m not so thrilled with regular grocery shopping, but something about being in the outdoors and  the piles of fresh, brightly coloured produce makes Farmer’s Markets more of a community event than a chore. I feel just-so-slightly virtuous as well, knowing my groceries were grown locally and my purchases help support local farmers. And many of the local markets have accompanying live music or events for kids. It’s a Mary Poppins kind of magic—making grocery shopping seem like a celebration. If you want to know where the closest (or the soonest) Farmers Market is for you, I’ve compiled a list of all the Sonoma County Farmer’s Markets here. You’ll always find this list to the left on the SOTC home page.
