Proprietor Sondra Bernstein of The Girl and the Fig in Sonoma will celebrate the release of her second cookbook, “Plats du Jour” at a free Holiday Open House and Book Launch Party  at Estate Restaurant. Here’s a pair of Chili’s coupons for you:

1) Chili’s just released a kids eat free coupon on its Facebook page. Per the tiny type, the deal is valid for kids under 12, and you can get up to two free kid’s meals per adult entree purchased. The coupon is valid on October 31, 2011, only, but it doesn’t look like costumes are required to get the deal. And you don’t need Facebook to access the coupon. You might also want to see the Kids Eat Free page for other Sonoma County kids eat free deals.

2) For a limited time, if you sign up for Chili’s email update, you’ll get  a coupon good for free Skillet Queso & Chips with an entree purchase at Chili’s. The expiration date changes based on when you sign up; you generally have two weeks to use it.

Kids age 10 and younger will eat free at Applebee’s on Halloween—up to two free kids meals with each adult meal purchased. Costumes aren’t mandatory (but won’t be amiss on Halloween, either).
