Free Museum Admission for Bank of America Card Holders

de young museum 150x150 Free Museum Admission for Bank of America Card HoldersIf you have a Bank of America Credit or Debit card, you can get free admission to museums across the country on the first weekend of every month—so this coming weekend. The nearest participating Bay Area museums are in SF: the DeYoung, the Legion of  Honor, the Museum of the Diaspora, the Contemporary Jewish Museum, and Zeum,(the cool kid’s museum). In Oakland, the Chabot Space and Science Center participates.

If you don’t have a B of A card, you might be interested in other free days at Bay Area museums.

They’re celebrating the opening of this new exhibit with Filipino foods, live music, and an alter dedication. Free for museum members, Adults $10, seniors and students with ID $5, kids under 12 free.

Pirates! at the Petaluma Museum

Smithsonian’s Free Museum Day Sept. 24, 2011

The Smithsonian Magazine is sponsoring a free admission day to  hundreds of “non-Smithsonian” museums around the country. Print out free museum tickets from the website, here. Bay Area Museums participating include the Cartoon Art Museum, Museum of Craft and Folk Art, and Chinese Historical Museum in San Francisco; the Napa County Historical Society in Napa;  the Pacific Coast Air Museum in Santa Rosa; the Petaluma Wildlife Museum; and more.  Thanks to Windy City on the Cheap for finding this one!
