Our friends at Madison on the Cheap found a cool art project: a free paper pattern and directions that you can download from the fan blog “Alice 2010″ to make a 3D paper Cheshire Cat. It’s not a little kid project, but kids old enough to handle an exacto knife can probably handle it.

Kids Build & Grow Clinic at Lowe’s
The next free Lowe’s Build and Grow clinic for kids will be building a building a tabletop basketball game. Sign up online. Each participant also receives a free apron, goggles, a project themed patch, and a certification of merit upon completion of their project.
