Free Drum Jam & Bellydancing

There will be a free casual drum jam running basic Middle Eastern rhythms on Saturday, March 20 from 10 am to noon (they meet every 3rd Saturday of the month, weather permitting) at Howath Park. Meet at the Howarth Park Upper Oak Picnic Area.

Don’t worry if you don’t know the rhythms, the basic strokes and rhythms will be explained.

Bellydancers welcome – it’s a perfect opportunity to practice zills. (Wear shoes – the ground is uneven and covered in wood chips)
Drummers: bring your own drum (any drum will do) and a chair or blanket to sit on. Other acoustic instruments are also welcome.
