Inexpensive Valentines Day Celebrations in the Wineries

wine2 150x150 Inexpensive Valentines Day Celebrations in the WineriesI’m a cheap date…a glass of red wine, a little bite to eat, and great view and I’m happy. And with all the wineries that are celebrating Valentines’ Day in one way or another, there  are plenty of wine/view combos to get my romantic heart racing. But I lean towards the quirky as well, so I must admit Bella Vineyards $10 “Zin City” fete sounds like a winner. Mini-chocolate cupcakes, tastes of 5 different wines, barrel samples, and—wait for it—a singing Elvis who will perform faux wedding ceremonies in the candlelit Bella Wine caves. But if Elvis scares you (and you know who you are) there are lots of other fun-sounding winery celebrations going on. Here’s a list:

Music, Wine and Sushi
Chef Ed, Shiso Catering, will prepare sushi to order at Landmark Vineyards. Sip on a Chardonnay or Pinot Noir to heighten the flavors and snuggle up by the roaring fire with a glass of wine and enjoy the live music by local musician, Adam Traum. Sushi prices vary from $5-$13.
