Free Kid’s Workshop: Rain Gauge
This winter has felt like rain, rain, and more rain. On Saturday, Mar. 6, 2010 kids can build a rain gauge at Home Depot’s Free Kids Workshop and measure just how much we’re getting. For kids 5-12.

Groupon Deal: GoCar Tour of SF

Oh the Places You’ll Go!
Dr. Seuss fans should head to their local Target on Saturday, Feb 27 for Dr. Seuss story time, part of a nationwide effort to gets kids reading more books. Between 9 am and 11 am storytellers will read Dr. Seuss’ classic “Oh The Places You’ll Go!”. There won’t be any green eggs and ham, but there will be fruit snacks and juice. There may also be Dr. Seuss-inspired games and giveaways, but you might want to call first to be sure your nearest Target store is participating.

Seal Pups at Goat Rock
The first harbor seal pups have been born at the seal rookerey at Goat Rock at Sonoma Coast State Beach in Jenner.
Every weekend, March through September, volunteers will be there with spotting scopes, to answer questions about the 100+ seals sleeping on the beach. [Read more →]
