Give a Day, Get a Disney Day

Starting today (January 1, 2010) you can register for a free Disney Pass at Give a Day, Get a Disney Day. Select a volunteer assignment listed by the Volunteer Center of Sonoma , complete your volunteer day within 60 days of registering. The Volunteer Center will provide certification  to Disney, and you’ll get a free day at Disney. New volunteer opportunities will be listed on the site as they arise, but right now, here are some of the options:

Jan 9: Habitat Restoration in Shollenberger Park (Petaluma)

Jan 16: Colgam Creek clean up and tree planting (Santa Rosa)

Jan 18: Martin Luther King Day: Assembling youth booklets at the Community Baptist Church (Santa Rosa)

Jan 23: Pack and sort food at Redwood Empire Food Bank  (Santa Rosa)

Jan 30: Roseland Creek cleanup (Santa Rosa)
