“Float Matrix” Deals
Everyone who has been to outer space talks about how amazing it feels to float in a void surrounded by stars, yet no one ever mentions the outrageous cab fares and crummy food. Today’s Groupon gives you all the best parts of space travel without any of the drawbacks: for $35, you get a 60-minute floating session at Float Matrix (a $75 value).
I’ve heard people rave about these things, and although the “floating” part sounds great, the “sound- and light-proof pod” churns all my hidden claustrophobia to the surface…if you do it, let me know what you think.
And if you don’t know about Groupons, let me explain:
Every day, Groupon has a new deal available. For the most part, these deals are San Francisco based. They are usually only available for a short time ( 24 hours or so).
Though you’re essentially buying coupons at a discount, they’re called Groupons because a minimum number of people need to buy them in order for everyone to get the deal. If the deal doesn’t “tip,” then you don’t get the deal; your credit card won’t be charged. Once the deal tips & you’ve officially bought the deal, you can manage your Groupons online & print them out when you’re ready to redeem them.
There’s often a side deal, so if the main deal doesn’t interest you, scan the right side of the page for “Today’s Side Deal” to see what else is available.
FYI–I’ve linked you to my Groupon affliate page. Translation: If you buy a Groupon within 72 hours of clicking on the link, and it’s the first time you’ve bought a Groupon, I’ll receive a small credit toward a future Groupon. If you’re going to buy your first Groupon ever & feel like sending a little love my way, use the link. Otherwise, just go to Groupon.com. Thanks!
