Sonoma County Vets Day Deals for Military
The Outback Steakhouse has a Veterans Day promotion. On November 11th, veterans and active duty personnel can get a free bloomin’ onion and a drink. Make sure to bring some kind of proof of your military status.
Lowe’s is offering 10% off any purchase by active duty and retired military personnel through Nov 12, 2009. You must ask for the discount and show your military or military dependants card. The discount is available on in-stock and special order purchases up to $5,000.
Home Depot is offering all active duty personnel, reservists, retired military, veterans and their families a 10 percent discount off their purchases in honor of Veteran’s Day. The offer is valid on purchases of up to $2,000 for a maximum of $200 between November 6 and November 12, 2008, at The Home Depot stores, The Home Depot Design Center locations, Yardbirds and EXPO Design Center(R) locations. Bring valid military ID.
In honor of Veterans Day on Wednesday, Nov. 11, the federal government will offer free admission to all national parks. Other public lands are also offering free admission on Nov 11.
Amazon is honoring Veterans this Veteran’s Day by giving a FREE MP3 download of 12 classics by the bands and ensembles of the US Armed Forces (this is for everyone, not just the military).
This is all in addition to the free meal at Applebee’s mentioned earlier.
