Havest Fair This Weekend!

grapestomp 150x150 Havest Fair This Weekend! The Harvest Fair will be held this weekend (Friday, Saturday, & Sunday, October 2-4) at the Sonoma County Fairgrounds.

Admission is pretty cheap ($6 for adults, kids 7-12, $2, kids 6 and under are free, and seniors get in on FRIDAY for $4). Of course, beer or wine tasting and team grape stomps (someday I’m going to do that!) are extra. On Sat and Sunday you can get fair admission, wine tasting admission a glass, and ten tasting tickets for $25.

Free events inside the fair include chef demonstrations, wine seminars, apple tasting, cow milking contests, facing pigs, live musicĀ  and plenty of kids activities: a haunted room (not a whole house), wagon rides, petting zoo, grape stomp for kids and pumpkin toss, etc. There are a few frugal tips for the Sonoma County Fair that may apply to the Harvest Fair as well, here.
