Fireworks over the Bay
Free fireworks show (a day early) at Westside Park in Bodega Bay gives you the chance to watch fireworks two days running. The show starts at dusk on Friday July 3rd. Suggested viewpoints: Doran Regional Park and Spud Point Marina.
Fireworks in Sebastopol
At Analy High(6950 Analy Ave.) on Friday July 3rd 2009. Fireworks start at dark. For a small fee ($3-$7) you can enter into the festivities area and enjoy live music, food and many other activities.
Windsor Independence Day
Live music, food and family fun, and the fireworks at Keiser Park. Activities start at 4pm, fireworks at dusk. There will be no parking in Keiser Park. All pedestrians are welcome. Parking will be available at: Windsor High School (8695 Windsor Rd.) No pets.

Kenwood 4th of July Hometown Parade
The Hometown Parade is back (but not the pillow fight

7 a.m., Pancake Breakfast, Kenwood Community Church.
7:30 am 3k-10k Kenwood Footrace.
10 a.m., Kenwood Hometown Parade Plaza Park.
Bicycle Santa Rosa
Sonoma County Bicycle Coalition is celebrating the Fourth with their annual festival in Juilliard Park in Santa Rosa. There’s a jumphouse, water games, a bike skills course, and a bike decorating booth and bike parade for kids. For adults, there’s a slow bike race and flat tire fixing contest. There will also be live music, food vendors, bike-powered blender smoothie booth, and free valet bike parking.
Meet in the park at 9:00 a.m. for the ‘City Council Members Ride.’ It’s an easy ride around Santa Rosa with elected officials from throughout Sonoma County. The ride wraps up at the park just as the festival gets underway at 11:00.

Guerneville Independence Day Celebration
Downtown Craft Fair on the Plaza, 10am-6pm, Russian River Rotary BBQ at Oddfellows Hall, 1pm-7pm; Chicken and Ribs, as well as a Beer/WiBand” (Swing/Jump band). Activities for the kids. Fireworks over the river at dusk. Suggested viewpoints: the Plaza or the pedestrian bridge along Main Street.
Healdsburg Old Fashioned Fourth
The American Legion Sotoyone Post 111 puts on it’s 19th annual fireworks show starting at 9:30 pm on the athletic field at Healdsburg High (1024 Prince Ave.).
Santa Rosa Red, White & Boom
Kick back on the lawn and enjoy one of the largest fireworks displays in the North Bay. Picnic baskets, blankets and lawn chairs welcome. No alcohol or glass containers, pets tents or canopies allowed through the gate. Food booths, entertainment and more. Sonoma County Fairgrounds, Santa Rosa. Free, but parking is $10 (or park downtown and walk over). 6 pm-10 pm

Jacuzzi Vineyards’ 2nd Anniversary
Jacuzzi Family Vineyards is celebrating the Fourth and their 2nd year Anniversary. Live music and wine, paired with appetizers and chocolate truffles. Noon-4pm
The Petaluma 4th of July celebration and fireworks
Starts at 3pm at the Sonoma-Marin fairgrounds. Live music, food booths and other entertainment is available, starting at 3:30 pm. Cost $2
Rohnert Park Annual “Concert in the Park”
Music concert featuring the Moonlighters Swing Era Big Band and the Rohnert Park Community Band. Bring chairs, blankets, food, friends, and family to enjoy an afternoon of traditional Big Band and Concert Band music. Easy street level access and plenty of free parking and shade. Eagle Park, Rohnert Park corner of Emily & Ellen Avenue. Free. 3pm
Sonoma 4th of July Old Fashioned Parade & Celebration
Sponsored by the Sonoma Community Center, a day filled with fun in the Plaza including an eclectic parade, food, and live music. Fireworks at Vallejo’s Field at dusk complete this Sonoma tradition. Suggested viewpoints:
Free 10 am to dusk.
Cloverdale 4th of July Fireworks
9:30 pm at the Cloverdale High School Football Field (509 N. Cloverdale Blvd). Free.
