Free Mother’s Day projects at Michael’s
Michaels Crafts Stores are putting on a whole slew of free classes to help kids make cards, frames, keepsake plates, t-shirts, personalized coupon books, corsages, etc. for mom.

Free Rickshaw Rides for Windsor Moms
Mother’s Day is opening day of the Windsor Certified Farmers Market on the Town Green and Rickshaw Rudy’s will be offering free rides for mothers. If you are a mom and you live in Windsor you can get a free ride between 9am and 9pm. Take a rickshaw ride to the farm market, to mother’s day brunch, dinner, or just for a ride around Windsor or the Green. You can flag them down as theypedal around the Town Green or call ahead to reserve a ride from home. Space is limited and reservations are recommended to ensure you get the pickup time you want. (Pickups earlier then 9am are available by advanced reservation only.) 707-838-9922
Mothers Day at Russian River Rose Company
The Russian River Rose Company is holding a Mother’s Day Open Garden. The display garden, with over 650 varieties of roses will be in full bloom. Stroll down the Rose Allee with huge rambling roses billowing down from the 12′ by 12′ arches, and take the time to smell the roses with your mom. This is a mother’s day tradition for some families. A $2 donation is appreciated, and there is usually a little something for the moms.

The first five mothers that come to Locals for a tasting on Mother’s Day will receive a free Locals T-shirt. And, a free solar disco ball will be given to the first mom who brings in an original picture of herself in full hippie regalia from the 1960s. TCBY’s are offering Mom’s a free frozen yogurt (cup or cone) on Mother’s Day May 10. There is a TCBY in Rohnert Park.

Outback Steakhouse in Rohnert Park will give Mom a $10 gift certiifcate for a future visist if you bring her in for a meal on Mother’s Day.
