Cheap Eats in Petaluma: Tapas Tuesdays

If you want the atmosphere of a nice restaurant (no eating on Styrofoam) but your budget is more along the lines of fast food, you might want to try Sugo Trattoria’s Tapas Tuesdays. They have a revolving menu of tapas (Spanish small plates) and a  selection of 10 house wines that go for $5 each g lass on Tuesdays from 5 pm to 9 pm. We ordered 2 tapas and a glass of wine each, and shared.

It’s not supercheap ($15 and tip each), but we were stuffed, and thoroughly enjoyed it (we could have ordered three tapas between the two of us and been satisfied).  We ordered salmon cake (wonderful), bruschetta (which came with 3 different varieties-you get to chose which three), Pesto pizzetta with goat cheese and sundried tomatoes, and housemade chips with melted gorgonzola & rosemary. The service was great.
