Guys and Dolls $5

Live theatre for $5! What a deal! The Santa Rosa JC Theater Department puts on affordable productions year round, but on specific dates, the seats get even cheaper. The next $5 seat offer is the matinee of Guys and Dolls on April 25. You might want to book ahead, this sounds like a deal that may go fast.

Free bocce ball lessons

The Sonoma Bocce Ball Committe is holding free introductory lessons on the sport (weather permitting) at 10 a.m. every Friday and 1 p.m. on Sundays, at the new bocce courts in Depot Park, 270 1st Street W. (south of the gazebo) in Sonoma. All equipment will be provided, with no reservations necessary – just show up. A bocce league will be formed once there are enough members. Family Day at Green String Farm
This Saturday (March 28, 2009), the Green String Farm on Adobe and Freitas Pkwy in Petaluma will hold a family day.
Learn about natural farming from the ground up. Interns at Green String Farm are going to give brief, fun, hands-on lessons about how they farm. If you´d like to stay for lunch afterwards they´ll bring homemade bread and you’ll help dig into some fresh veggies from the farm stand. [Read more →]
